go ahead and tell me this isn't the perfect outfit for a day at the farmer's market! you can't! hahah. but on the real, i would probably wear this everywhere. can i please have these jett modern vice booties?! P L E A S E ! They are seriously so perfect in every way. In person, the leather is just so soft and dreamy. But that price tag. I just. I can't. HOLD ON. I need a moment to collect myself. 

okay. i've decided just now, i'm going to start saving them pennies for these babies because i just don't think i can live without them. ever since the day i saw them in real life i've needed them. i dont even know why i do this to myself. can i just win the lottery? liiiiiike am i going to get a second job so i can buy these? maybe.

okay. okay. let's move on before i have a breakdown. when i was a kid i loved fringe on everything! everything! i had a little fringe jacket and it was my favorite thing in the worrrld! until we moved and no one was able to find it. i was seriously depressed at age 6 over a fringe jacket. which btw, i didnt list here but cleobella has the fringe jacket of my dreams. this second job is probably gonna need to happen isn't it? ahaha anyway this little bag from irene's story is a good compromise for now, right?

this dress from Ruche is too perfect. i need it. need it. neeeeeed. i freakin adore the floral embroidery so much. it seriously makes the dress. there is also a similar one in sage green if you're interested. ;) i find that lately i've been gearing towards more blue clothing. all shades of blue. i don't know what this means. 

okay i'm getting loopy i have to get food now. have a good weekend and be good to your moms tomorrow.

In Dreams: Anthropologie May Lookbook 2014 // Guanajuato, MX

by now you've seen Anthropologie's May lookbook. when i got this sucker in the mail, before i even opened it, immediately i knew it was shot in Guanajuato, Mexico. GTO has a special place in my heart so i just knew. spring break 2009, i took a trip there to visit my friend who was doing a study abroad program and it was amazing. it was my first solo trip, my first airplane ride, and my first visit to Guanajuato. ah, to be 21 and adventurous again!

just looking through the catalogue really made me miss it. i had the best food i've ever had (please don't tell my mom), and was inspired nearly every day i was there. the colors man, they do something to ya. i really didn't want to come back but i did have those coachella tickets, lol. Guanajuato is a big college town so no one finds it weird to see an asian girl speaking fluent spanish. If there's anything i've learned about Mexicans (my other half) is that they love involving people from other cultures to learn their ways, to try their food, to learn their language and share all the good things they have to offer. which in turn, makes me wish mexico wasn't so corrupt and overrun by the drug lords because i want to go back. there is beauty there that needs to be seen. i just want to go to oaxaca, and quintana roo, and nayarit and soooo many other places in mexico, and not to mention i'd love to one day visit the land that raised me, Sinaloa. but it doesn't help that sinaloa is one of mexico's most dangerous states. T___T. it will happen for me, one day. hopefully.

coincidentally, i did wear an anthro top on this trip! hah! 

(this is my friend derek, an african-american and korean boy from kentucky who i met while he studied abroad in mexico. tell me that's not like the funniest story ever? haha. derek, my friend angie, and i were totally joined at the hip during this trip. explorers!)

anywayyy, i love when Anthro shoots on location because their photos are just breathtakingly beautiful. what i didn't like about this lookbook was that nearly all items in this catalogue all had spanish words in them. was that necessary? i didn't see ya'll give vietnamese names to all the products on the previous vietnam lookbook. maybe i'm just being nitpicky. you win some, you lose some.

In Dreams: All Who Wander, ThreadSence Spring 2014 Lookbook

i'm definitely a few weeks late on this but the new ThreadSence lookbook for spring 2014 was too good not to share. the lighting they captured is too dreamy. also, the novella royal kimono from this photo is killing me. I. NEED. IT. So many good photos but here are a few faves:

sidenote: i don't use my back patio at all. in fact, i don't think i've even been out there. you can see all the sad leaves piling up like crazy. i've got a whole year's worth of leaves you guys. i think i'll get around to picking them up sometime and building myself a teepee, because why not?

this was probably my absolute favorite outfit. so much awesome, all in one outfit. i can't even.

this Fair Game Asymmetric Dress is such a beaut in real life. one of my coworkers was wearing it and it totally convinced me that i need it. hopefully it's still around by next paycheck. did i mention it has optional straps? WHAAAAT. so many options now.

Have you guys ever fallen in love with a dress so much that it hurt? LOL okay, exaggeration aside, how can you not love this FP New Romantics Delphine Dress [1]? I am seriously so in love I want to cry because i just cannot justify this purchase right now. Take a look at this dress, see the back? IT'S PERFECT!!!! I. NEED. IT. I just, i do. SIGH. I also need it in the black. it's just too good. I can't even form full comprehensive sentences i'm so captivated by this dress. I need to sell my soul or something just so i can buy that dress. 

Craziness aside, i'm so stoked about this January catalogue because so many pieces are sooooo good. It was hard narrowing it down to just ten pieces because everything was super awesome. Like this romper [6], what!? It's so freaking awesome--i don't even wear rompers. I know this romper would really look great only on girls with small breasts but damn, if i owned this i would make some alterations to the top part to make it work for my girls, because let me tell you, i don't need them in anyone's face. But this romper is so awesome i would make an exception for it in my wardrobe. 

This New Romantics Pinnacle Mesh top [7] is super perfect for the ever present summer weather we have here in SoCal--I know i would live in this top! 

Overall, SO MUCH GOODNESS for this January's catalogue. Now i'm gonna go and balance my checkbook and figure out how long it's going to take me until i can afford the Delphine Dress. le sigh. 

In Dreams: H&M Series

YOU GUYSSSSSSSS!!! The day has finally arrived. H&M online shop is now live! Okay, i know i live really close to an H&M buuuuut i always hate shopping there because the store is messy, there's never anything left in my size, and the mall gives me creeps so i can't ever stay too long. So this is obviously the better alternative. Not for my wallet obviously. Hahaha. The only downside is that you can't return anything you buy online to the store--you must ship it back and it'll cost ya the shipping. laaaame. but i mean, they're just trying it out right now so i'm sure that it will change later. such a big company--i doubt it would stay the same forever. 

i'm super stoked. i remember senior year of high school when my pal KC and i somehow conned my parents to drive us to San Francisco to visit the arboretum for our AP Bio project and used it as an excuse to shop at the only H&M in California. A year and half after and H&M's were opening up everywhere! H&M is super rad because i find that it's very affordable and everyone can find something there. Especially basics! My boy loves getting shirts there but he wishes he could fit into those pants. I do too, because damn those pants are awesome, but he got a booty so that don't work! hahaha.

currently obsessing over these little guys. Got an email from Ruche highlighting this little dress so i know it will be gone by the time i'll have $ for it so i'm already sad about it. haha. but i can still dream! this cute fit and flare style is so flattering for everyone and always in fashion. And that print! man it's quite something. I would totally pair this dress with this rad anorak from Nasty Gal and i'm pretty sure if i bought it i would probably want to live in it forever haha. Also, these shoes. ugh. THESE SHOES. dear Madewell, why must you always always always be out of my price range? If you guys know of any similar shoe styles for a broke-ass let me know!

Currently obsessed with these little guys. I know it's Summer and the whole point is to gravitate towards colorful numbers but I just love black dresses. Suitable for almost every occasion how can you go wrong? My favorite of the bunch is this Dolce Vita number (1) but i'm 100% sure i'm not daring enough to wear it as is. I would probably add fabric to the inside of the bodice and make it a little bit more modest ;). Also i know number 6 here should probably not count for this list considering it's a maxi length buuuuuut i'm super obsessed with it either way so i included it anyway. Deal with it!

Free People's July 2013 Catalogue dropped earlier this week and it is full of stunners. I just can't help being in love with everything from Free People! I sure wish it was more within my budget though :/
